About Suleyman C. Cooke
Suleyman C. Cooke is an internationally respected art expert with over 30 years of experience working with major museums, galleries, and cultural institutions worldwide. Educated at Oxford University and the University of San Francisco, he specializes in works on paper, art history, and preservation. His consulting work includes projects with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Islamic Art (Qatar), and the U.S. State Department. He is a member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).

Preserving the Past and Enhancing the Experience

We’re pleased to share that our exterior restoration project has entered its second phase, a thoughtful effort to preserve the timeless beauty of our 110-year-old historic resort while continuing to elevate the guest experience.

The work will take place through summer 2025, with restoration moving through different sections of the property during this time.

Some room views may be slightly impacted by scaffolding, and light noise may occur Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm . No work will take place after hours or on weekends to ensure a more peaceful stay.
